調査概要

  • 対象:全国の20床以上の病院の精神科・心療内科・小児科・内科・産婦人科(11,766施設)
  • 調査施設数:5,220施設(層化無作為抽出)
  • 回収率:49.1%(2,565施設が回答)
  • 調査期間:2014年10月1日〜2015年9月30日(1年間)

: 患者数は過小評価の可能性あり(未受診者が多い)。オランダの報告では神経性やせ症の約半分、神経性過食症の1/10程度しか医療機関を受診しないとされる。JAFED推計では未受診者を含めると数十万人と推測。

: 精神科が約3分の2を占める。ただし施設毎の患者数の偏りが非常に大きく、上位5%の施設で精神科患者の50%、心療内科・小児科患者の60%を占めていた。

  • 都市部(特別区・政令指定都市・中核市・特例市・人口20万人以上の市):推計17,189人(約70%)
  • 非都市部:推計6,978人(約30%)

→ 患者の約7割が都市部に集中


二次調査(臨床疫学調査)結果

対象:863施設8,850例 回答:363施設3,659例(回収率41.3%)    男性147人、女性3,489人、性別未記載23人
